The 2023 Minnesota Harness Racing divisional award winners have been announced ahead of the MHRI Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet. The celebration of the 2023 season will take place on Saturday, Feb. 17 at Running Aces Casino Hotel and Racetrack in Columbus.
Stuckey Dote has been a top-level competitor at Running Aces for many years and he will be hanging up his racing shoes after Friday night (Sept. 15), where he has been tabbed as the 7-2 second choice on the early line in the $15,000 Minnesota-sired consolation for older male pacers.
Among a myriad of stellar performances on the Thursday, Sept. 7 program at Running Aces was that of four-year-old pacing mare Lucky Lil Lady who turned in a sharp gate-to-wire triumph in the $17,600 distaff Open Handicap.
The Thursday (August 17) harness racing program at Running Aces was loaded with freshman and sophomore action in the Minnesota-sired program and there were many standout performances throughout the night.
The Thursday (June 22) harness racing program at Running Aces featured two divisions of the $36,500 Minnesota-sired sophomore pace as well as the first freshman event of the season.
