A Kerala court on Saturday returned the plaint filed by Mathrubhumi against the producer of Kantara movie, Hombale Films in relation to the copyright dispute regarding the use of the song "Varaha Roopam" in the movie.
The Kerala High Court Thursday stayed an order of the Kozhikode District Court which had returned a suit filed by music band, Thaikkudam Bridge against the producer of the 'Kantara' movie.
According to reports, a Kozhikode court in Kerala has lifted the ban imposed on the song. The makers, therefore, have added the original song to the Tamil and Malayalam versions. They are yet to add it in Telugu, Kannada and Hindi.
