getting done before the election or at least even starting before the election seems remote, but could i miss something here? >> i'd say it's remote to zero. i don't see how this case moves forward quickly. the prosecutor made the decision to swing for the fences. she named nearly two dozen defendants. she included sprawling charges. any time they try to manage a case with nearly 20 defendants, particularly a case like this one that is on a complicated facts, conduct that expands years, there's no way you can move it forward quickly. too many variables, too many balls to juggle in the air. not to mention the possibility of trump tries to remove it from state court to federal court that will add months to to process. there's no way that they can mow forward before the election. it's not likely. >> neil: tom, final word. thanks, katie.

and kind of been given the guidance that a case of this magnitude would take two days to present. and certainly that was something that was really kind of underscored over the weekend when we heard that a couple of the witnesses were scheduled to come tuesday. the fact that they were called, really almost spur of the moment and hey, you know what, we know we told you tuesday, drop what you're doing, come down here now and testify, shows that for whatever reason it appears they're trying to wrap all of this up, button this up in a single day. now, whether they can do that remains to be seen. of course there are a number of variables. the number of questions that are asked. what the presentation looks like, how the testimony goes. but just the fact that they moved it up really does signal to me they're trying to wrap this up in a single day. >> blayne, there's been no secret on the part of fani willis that security was top of mind for her and being prepared for any response or reaction in atlanta was something that she thought about well ahead of today and this week. what does it feel like there where you're standing?

calculators first came into the classroom that it would destroy math, and we still teach arithmetic and, in fact, calculators helped students to do better at math because we can do more advanced calculations at an earlier age. same thing's true with a.i. as a professor, i've got to up my game. cheating has always been around as well, so when a student turns in a paper that just seems completely out of whack with where they are intellectually, what they say in class, that's a are red flag. so as a professor, i can identify when a student is just using a chat bot9 to write their's sate because it just doesn't match what they were doing just as if they paid somebody to go and write it. so this is something where teachers and professors will have the better know your students and really know the information on the paper because at the end of the day, students are going to use it, and as teachers and professors, we can either pretend that they won't or figure out a way to embrace it. joey: yeah, i guess my question is in math you still have to know what variables to put into
