Protected and i m not too worried about it. people should be empowered to make their own decisions about the risk level they are comfortable with. jon: people should be empowered to make decisions, to make their own decisions about risk level they are comfortable with. you like that phrase? i like that phrase because people want that right now but i like something even more, who is a high risk group and how do we protect them next word we forgotten, protecting those at high risk. someone around you is high risk, you might whether mask indoors even if you are not. i think we ve been overburdening teens and young adults in people under 50 with something that s not helping if you are over 65 with a pre-existing condition or obese in a chronic illness, you might want to keep the strategy going even if the cases are dropping even if it s a milder variance which it clearly is across the board. ....

By authorizing the russian army to go into donetsk and luhansk as peace keepers. he is escalating the military environment there. his decision on recognizing these areas as independent is a further step away from a diplomatic solution. it is putting him at a greater variance with nato and the united states, making it much less likely than his demands that ukraine can never join nato. that nato goes back to its 1997 lines, making it much more unlikely that those could happen through diplomacy. essentially, having threatened to get this far, it would be an even greater backdown for the united states or any nato nation to turn around and give him what he wants, which they ve already said not. so i think that level, it creates a much bigger diplomatic gap. to your point, is this getting closer to a big war? ....

Health because of covid, but on the whole children have not been badly affected. i suppose the question arises, how useful is this if you have to make choices about where you put vaccines? because i think presumably they are still reducing the pool of available vaccine doses and other parts of the world. we are not speaking and other parts of the world. we are not speaking about and other parts of the world. we are not speaking about a and other parts of the world. we are not speaking about a huge and other parts of the world. we are not speaking about a huge amount l and other parts of the world. we are | not speaking about a huge amount of vaccinejust for this, not speaking about a huge amount of vaccine just for this, but it s true that if we take all the countries that if we take all the countries that are currently vaccinating children, that s an enormous number of vaccine doses, and there are arguments that could be said that they should be better deployed amongst countri ....

Hospitalisations with the next wave was more severe, like previous early variance of covid and 17 hospitalisations if the next wave was relatively mild, like omicron. in a moment we re going to be speaking to our regular gp, dr nighat arif but first she s been taking a personal look at the impact of long covid in children. i ve been in touch with a respiratory consultant whose own child has long covid. jasmine was ten when she originally came down with covid and it was just over 12 months ago and she just never really recovered. before, she was a really healthy, happy child who was really active and now she is requiring a wheelchair to mobilise distances outside of the house, so it s been absolutely devastating. i don t feel good. she says the lack of research is frustrating. i think we all know what happens when we as a country get behind something like we ve seen with the vaccination roll out and vaccination ....
