Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks workers are building a new 1.5-mile-long trail on Gunbarrel Hill – in large part to protect vesper sparrows and other ground-nesting songbirds. The new Vesper Trail is expected to run parallel to Lookout Road near the intersection of 75th Street and Lookout Road.
