Museum of the Islands appreciates donation By Staff | Mar 3, 2021 To the editor: The Museum of the Islands wishes to humbly thank local residents Elizabeth Felts and Mike Kuzma hailing from northeast Maryland for their very generous donation. The Museum remains able to protect and preserve local history due to the generosity of our community members. The substantial nature of this donation will allow for flexibility to address necessary issues that always seem to need attention! Museum of the Islands says thanks By Staff | Dec 28, 2020 To the editor: The Museum of the Islands staff would like to extend our sincerest appreciation for the community’s support regarding our annual Open House. Our all-volunteer non-profit organization relies solely on the generosity of the island folk to preserve the rich history of our area. The annual Open House is our most important fundraiser of the year as well as a chance to showcase all of our new displays. The volunteers, community, and vendors really stepped it up this year, one of our most productive events yet! Special thanks to Jill Davidson who graciously rallied the community into a very impressive plant sale, which certainly bumped up our success. Also a note of thanks to Cove Farms for donating several beautiful large potted trees, plants and labor! ....
