So watch this and ill come back at the end of todays program. I was expecting a cry, but the room was quiet and you could basically hear a pin drop in that room. There was no life in him. He wasnt breathing or anything. Junaid looked at the baby and he told me, theres something wrong. I was born muslim because my mother married a muslim man. His name was mohammed esau. They separated when i was two years old and at that point my mother, i think, she went back to being christian. I come from a christian background and basically grew up in a methodist church, attending sunday school there and all the sunday school outings, but not really very personal. I knew there was a god. I knew about jesus, but i never fully understood his love for me. I thought he only loves me on special occasions. At eight years old, my grandma put a bible in my hand, and she said, junaid, i want you to read this, basically, and i read religiously. For years and years it was just me, my bible and god. After a cha
Welcome to gospel truth with andrew wommack. A Teaching Ministry that focuses on gods unconditional love and grace. And now, heres andrew. Welcome to our tuesdays broadcast of the gospel truth. Today im continuing my series through the book of romans and were nearing the end of this series. This is my sixth week of teaching through the book of romans and im either going to finish on this friday or maybe just a few days into next week, but were drawing to a close and i tell you, this has been powerful and there are so many good things that im saying. Plus, ive said a lot of things that i havent gone into the detail that i would love to do, but i mean, this is. This teaching through the book of romans is like the foundation of the Christian Life, and if i was to explain everything in the detail that god has given it to me, it would be a four year. Five year series. I mean, theres just no way to share everything, but these materials go into much more detail than what im doing here on the
You couldnt ever pay enough to atone for all of your sins, so jesus atoned for it. Jesus paid, and all you got to do is make him your savior and if he is your savior then you get into heaven. You get into right relationship with god based on what jesus did and not what you do. We are the only religion on the planet that has that concept. No other religion has this. What a huge distinction between christianity and any other religion and it is the distinguishing characteristic. Its what makes life awesome. As it says in romans, chapter 5 being justified by faith in what jesus did for us is how we have peace with god. The only way that you can have peace is to have a savior. That its his goodness that makes you accepted with god. If the burden is on your back. If you have to earn salvation, there is no peace, because even if you did good yesterday and do good today, tomorrow is a brand new day and you could blow the whole thing and there is no way for you to relax and just rest. The only
With hyperactivity or. Or. Or lack of ability to concentrate because we could see he couldnt even sit down to eat a meal. He would run around the table. Take him off and run on the table. And when i taught him his numbers, we would do it in garden. I would ask him a sum as he ran out in the garden and he answered coming down the garden and this is how i taught him. He never sat on my lap or lay in bed when i had a bedtime story. He would walk around the carpet, touching his favorite bits, going round and round and round, and as long as i would keep reading, he would just keep walking round and round touching his favorite bits. Everything was timed so he knew where he was in the day, what was going to happen next and the routine had to be very structured. His sleeping had always been a huge issue. He would wake up after he had been asleep for an hour or two and he would jump up screaming in terror and run around the house, but he didnt recognize me. If i went towards him to comfort him,
Out of the condemnation and the guilt of the old covenant into the joy and the victory of the new covenant. Man, thats huge this is huge and heres the way that i want to approach this. Instead of starting at hebrews, chapter 1 and going through, im going to jump over to hebrews, chapter 10, because in a sense hes summarizing some of the things that he said right here and so what i want to do. Instead of teaching verse by verse through the book of hebrews, because if i do that, there is so much material in here, it could lit. I could spend over a month teaching on this on television easily. So what im going to do is go and take these summaries. Some of the highlights of the book of hebrews. Make these points and then go back to individual scriptures in the earlier part of the book of hebrews to substantiate it and show you the points that were being made, and so as a whole, what we will do in two weeks time, we will basically give a bres. Brief synopsis of the book of hebrews and i thin
