Almost a year ago, I watched a video of George Floydâs little daughter, Gianna, sitting on the shoulders of a close friend of her father, proudly stating, in an excited and raised voice: âDaddy changed the world!â I fought back tears, because it seemed clear that this 6-year-old girl did not fully appreciate what it would mean to grow up without a father.
