Viera High School Army JROTC Female Raider Team Shines at State Championships

The Viera High School Army JROTC Female Raider team placed 5th in the Florida Army JROTC Raider State championships held at Hudson High School in Hudson, Florida this past Saturday 2 December. The Viera HS Female Raider team was one of 4 Brevard County Raider teams that qualified for the Raider State Championships. ROTC, JROTC, Sea Cadets and Civil Air Patrol Cadets Recognized By Cape Canaveral Military Officers Association

These 19 cadets in Brevard County came from Florida Tech, 15 JROTC high schools, one Sea Cadet Battalion, and two Civil Air Patrol Squadrons. The cadets were presented with a MOAACC achievement certificate and medal. In addition, the JROTC cadets each received a $300 grant from donations made to the MOAACC Good Deeds Foundation to assist with college enrollment or the pursuit of a military career. ....
