Fidelis Care, a statewide health plan with more than 2.5 million members in New York state and a wholly owned subsidiary of Centene Corp., has announced the distribution of $158,000 in grants to nine not-for-profit organizations that support maternal health and wellness.
A recent Fidelis Care grant of $10,000 will help Rome, New York-based Connected Community Schools "prepare students to be in the classroom" by making sure they are not hungry, said CCS Co-Executive Director Melissa Roys.
