Kenneth Kay Shepard
Kenneth Kay Shepard was born on March 6, 1940 at St. Francis Hospital in Peoria, Illinois. He was the oldest of Marion and Viola Shepard’s four children. He graduated from East Peoria High School in 1957 and then attended Greenville College, in Greenville, Illinois, graduating with a degree in physics in 1962. He earned his master’s degree from Michigan State University. In 1961 Ken married Iris Knight of Park Rapids, Minnesota.
