Local booksellers shared stories of Greek goddesses, 1930s spies, murder in Northern Ireland, and more for you to add to your list.
For this month’s book review, I’m taking you all back to the early 2000s. A Violent End is Maggie Wheeler's debut novel in the Lost Villages Series. It puts a spotlight on our local history – the building of the St. Lawrence Seaway – with a side of murder and mystery.
Seventh and final mystery novel with strong local connections to be launched in November in Long Sault.
“This is not just another book launch,” explains Wheeler, known to fans as the Seaway Valley’s Queen of Crime. “It’s goodbye to Farran and the gang.”
