Robert John “Bob” Nyquist, age 93 passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 13, 2022 in Waterview Shores Nursing Home in Two Harbors while battling cancer with his family by his side. He was a true fighter until the end. He was born in Two Harbors, MN in 1928 to John Oscar and Violet Nyquist. He graduated Two Harbors High School with the class of “46”. He served in the United States Army during the Korean conflict and when he returned back home he met the love of his life Marilyn Mattson at a dry dance in Duluth.
