More than 400 students, faculty, and guests attended the Liberty University Helms School of Government’s Culture & Crisis conference held virtually on Friday and Saturday.
The highly anticipated forum assembled 70 presenters to pitch research related to constitutionalism and federalism in a time of crisis.
The event was co-sponsored by the Helms School’s Journal for Statesmanship and Public Policy and addressed an array of public policy and culture subjects from a biblical worldview, including critical race theory, the Bible and the Constitution, and the origins of cancel culture. Presenters included Liberty students and faculty; faculty from other universities; and members from the Heritage Foundation, Forge Leadership, and the Virginia Family Foundation. ....

Partnering with “trans” activists across the state, the Virginia Department of Education plans to open up bathrooms and locker rooms for transgender students and, in a twisted sense of irony, demand privacy and secrecy for them, too.
The draft proposal for Virginia’s public schools, which can be viewed here, states that transgender students have safe, supportive and inclusive school environments.
A public comment period ends tomorrow, Feb. 3.
Citing the document, Lifesitenews.com reports those students need no evidence to support their “trans identity” other than declaring the “internal sense” they are the opposite sex. That means students will have the freedom to enter bathrooms and locker rooms occupied by the opposite sex with the support of state government, an ....
