The idea to site an off-leash dog park behind the Garver Feed Mill has been shot down before, just as it has at two other close-by parks, O.B. Sherry and Eastmorland.

Development partners are proposing 13 new parcels on the property zoned for residential development of up to 1,100 housing units, some lower cost, plus open space.
