Chilume voter data: investigation has found links between the IT minister of Karnataka and the company that masterminded the voter data theft scam in Bengaluru
The probe was initiated after an investigative report published by TNM and Pratidvani exposed how a private trust named Chilume had carried out large-scale voter data theft in Bengaluru.
The report was compiled by Amlan Biswas, the Regional Commissioner of Bengaluru Division, and exposed the involvement of BBMP officials in facilitating Chilume Trust's unlawful collection of voter data.
