If you don t yet qualify for a COVID-19 vaccine in Georgia you can still try to get one on an end-of-the-day, waste avoidance waitlist. 
DPH has told providers that when they make waitlists to have them prioritized by eligible criteria so those individuals are called first when there are doses left at the end of the day, said Georgia Department of Public Health spokeswoman Nancy Nydam. If  providers have made every attempt to contact or reach individuals on a waitlist who meet eligibility criteria and they still have doses available, we want that vaccine to go into arms versus being discarded. As a result, there will be times people outside of the current eligibility criteria may get vaccinated. ....
