Jackson County Fairgrounds, is honoring Veterans through the remarkable and solemn exhibit known as "The Wall That Heals."
The Wall That Heals, established by the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience the grandeur and emotional impact of The Vietnam Veterans Memorial, also known simply as The Wall. Designed by Maya Lin and dedicated in 1982, The Wall bears the names of more than 58,000 servicemen and servicewomen who lost their lives during the Vietnam War.
“The Wall That Heals” is a three-quarter scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. that tours the nation. It includes the engraved names of 58,281 men and women who died in the line of duty during the Vietnam War.
