I want to thank all of my friends that supported my run for Fire Commissioner 3. I really appreciate all of your help the past few months. It’s always good when the people have a choice and now they’ve made theirs.
As of press time, 700 ballots were left to count out of 14,725 received. According to the San Juan County Elections Office website, only 29.4 % of registered voters participated in the election. The results are as follows:

We are voting for Warren Appleton because we believe he is the better candidate for Fire Commissioner for San Juan Island Fire Protection District #3.
We are supporting Warren Appleton for SJI Fire Commissioner District 3. While we have two good candidates for this elected office, Warren is a better choice. There has never been a more credentialed candidate for the Fire Commissioner position. We will need those skills as the department unravels the problems of the past five years. The Fire Department has many dedicated, talented men and women who have given their hearts for the department and the community.
