Tobi Akintimehin appeared at Basildon Crown Court yesterday after admitting trying to sell Class A drugs. The 25-year-old was confronted by police on August 2, 2019 in Warrior Square car park in Southend. Police had seen activity near Akintimehin’s car and suspected drug dealing was taking place. Southend Council has revealed the investment package as part of its capital investment plan.  The councillor responsible for highways has called the proposed £50m investment over the next five years a "game-changer" for residents and drivers. The council says significant new investment of £21m is being proposed up to 2025/26 in the capital investment programme, including £14m for pavements and £7m for road improvements.
