Search and rescue crews are searching Friday night for an angler on a large Utah reservoir as winter storm swirls over the state.

The newly established Park City delegation of Special Olympics Utah is expanding its scope to offer intellectually disabled individuals the opportunity to participate in additional team and individual sports. The organization is canvassing for athletes and volunteers.

Along with every other position up for election in Wasatch County this year, the filing period to run for the opening seats on the Wasatch County School Districts' Board of Education expired Monday afternoon, leaving each of the positions with two competing candidates.
