After six months in command, im confident that the combined and joint forces of the United States and republic of korea are capable and ready to deter and if necessary respond to north korean threats and actions. We know how real the north korean threat is, as four years ago tomorrow north korea fired a torpedo sinking a south korean ship, killing 46 sailors.
