Rock Springs Accepts Over $7 Million in CARES Funding

ROCK SPRINGS — The Rock Springs City Council met in a special meeting Thursday evening to accept more than $7.8 million in Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) funding. Due to time sensitivity involved in accepting the funding, the Council met at a special meeting to approve the funding for various resolutions. The Council approved a reimbursement agreement between the Wyoming State Loan and Investment Board (SLIB) and Rock Springs for $7.4 million in CARES Act funds.
