First responders, train operators and volunteers staged a mock mass-casualty disaster drill to refresh training and readiness April 6, on the WeGo Music City Star, a regional commuter train with stops at stations in Donelson and Hermitage.
State and local emergency response crews and train operators conducted a two-hour simulated drill on the public transit train at Martha Train Station in Lebanon to refresh safety training and increase preparedness for a real-life train emergency, WeGo Public Transit officials said.
Transit Solutions Group, a R.J. Corman company, conducted the mock drill. It included the participation of a multi-agency team of state and local law enforcement and operations management teams. ....
