JEFFERSON CITY (MBC) – The Executive Board of the Missouri Baptist Convention (MBC) has named Wes Fowler, senior pastor of First Baptist Church, Mayfield, Ky., the next MBC executive director-treasurer.

By nearly all accounts, the MBC annual meeting was a wonderful event. For one thing, 1,016 brothers and sisters from 462 churches, along with 222 guests, gathered to make this the largest gathering of Missouri Baptists in the St. Louis area in over a decade.
