Flood alerts issued for Dorset as heavy rain forecast for county

A NUMBER of flood alerts have been issued across Dorset, with heavy rain forecast for the county in the coming days. Met Office has issued a 30-hour weather warning for West Dorset and outskirts of Dorchester and Weymouth between 9pm on Thursday, December 17 until 3am on Saturday, December 19. Dorset has already been hit with rain overnight, causing high tides and river levels in the area.
