MINSK, 26 January (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko appointed Aleksandr Volfovich as State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus, BelTA has learned.
Until now, Aleksandr Volfovich served as Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces - First Deputy Defense Minister.
The post of the State Secretary of the Security Council remained vacant since Valery Vakulchik, who worked on this post for less than two months, was appointed Aide to the President for Brest Oblast in October 2020.
Aleksandr Volfovich was born in 1967 in Kazan. he graduated from the Moscow Higher Combined Arms Command School In 1988, the Command and Staff Faculty of the Military Academy Of Belarus in 1998, the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in 2008. ....
