WESTFIELD Salvatore W. “Sal” Gambino, 70, of McClurg Street Westfield, N.Y., passed away peacefully Monday, April 26, 2021, at home with his loving family and canine companion “Nilla” by his side following a courageous battle with cancer.
Sal was born Feb. 16, 1951, in Westfield, N.Y. the son of the late Joseph and Marie (Cross) Gambino.
He went to school at Westfield Academy and Central School and was a graduate of the class of 1970. Following graduation, Sal went to work for Mogen David Wine Corporation in Westfield, N.Y., beginning as a laborer and retiring as production manager after 47 years of employment. ....
