Flexible workspace provider WeWork is reportedly gearing up to initiate a bankruptcy filing within the upcoming week, reported Wall Street Journal.
WeWork India currently has about 6.5 million sq ft of assets signed across 50 locations in seven cities-New Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, and Hyderabad.
The company has a 30-day grace period to make the interest payments before a non-payment can be considered an "event of default", WeWork said in a regulatory filing.
