Carmel Unified test scores drop for second year
In 2016, 82% of Carmel Unified students met or exceeded grade level standards in English Language Arts. In 2023, only 73% of students met or exceeded those same standards. Students’ math scores also dropped significantly, with 72% of students meeting or exceeding expectations in 2016 compared to only 62.6% of students in 2023.
