Louis Lynagh’s move to Benetton this season – and a potential Italy Test debut sooner, in this year’s Six Nations – has put a few noses out of joint in the south-west London area. The 23-year-old is, after all, a Harlequins hero; one of the chief architects of the club’s finest hour, when the underdogs beguiled and beat all in their path en route to that memorable Premiership title in 2021.
