NetherRealm Studios is trying to get back on players’ good side

After being lashed by players over the decision to charge for new fatalities, Mortal Kombat 1 is now giving them away for free.

When I was looking at the various games releasing in the second half of the year, I was very curious about the next-gen (or well now current-gen) games on Steam Deck. There have been many PC ports like Wild Hearts and more-recently Starfield that have had issues not only on Steam Deck, but also more powerful systems.

Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind is WB’s third animated MK movie, and this one focuses on blind swordsman Kenshi and ice ninja Sub-Zero. Here’s the first trailer.

CinemaBlend The new Mortal Kombat movie debuted on HBO Max and in theaters last weekend and the movie is getting a decent amount of praise, all things considered. While it probably isn't the first great video game movie that many fans have been hoping for, it's a lot of fun in a lot of ways, and so it's certainly possible that once the smoke clears, we could see a sequel movie. Based on the Mortal Kombat ending, there's certainly a hope there will be a sequel, as the movie strongly indicates that one popular character from the video game franchise will appear if a sequel happens.
