Portsmouth 0-2 Sunderland
A 2-0 victory over Portsmouth ensured Sunderland clinched their sixth win in seven Sky Bet League One games on Tuesday evening. The Lads burst out of the traps and led with just 12 minutes on the clock, as a bullet header registered Charlie Wykeâs 26 th goal of the campaign. Jordan Jones supplied the frontman and moments before the hour mark, he took centre stage to double the advantage through an ice-cold finish. Dominant throughout, a fifth clean sheet in six games was secured and so were the points, as the Black Cats moved within two points of the top two.
