Wadettiwar allegedly called Nikam "anti-national" and claimed that Hemant Karkare, the former Maharashtra ATS chief, was not killed by Ajmal Kasab s bullet during the 26/11 terror attack, but by a bullet from an RSS-affiliated policeman. Nikam has refuted these claims, calling them baseless and aimed at tarnishing his image.
