It got noisy while we were in the shelter for 20 minutes. we came out and looked outside and trees were almost sideways so we went back in. and like i said now we just came out. i could see the moving looks to be northeast. two guys saw them go by south. shepard: you were in college is my understanding huge twister in 1999. yes, sir. tell me about that. fortunately i was at my school, which is about 20 miles north of where it hit. but my family were not so fortunate. and they actually were in one of the neighborhoods that was hit. weathered it in a storm cellar. shepard: we have just gotten confirmation now two people were killed when the tornadoes touched down near he will reno which is 25 miles west of oklahoma city ....
shepard: jeff, describe what you are seeing. what kind of vehicle are you in? what are you seeing around you? ening at this time i-35 in moore on highway 37. the main east-west road on the southwest side of moore. to give you better south of the 40 interchange and 4 miles north of the city of norman, at this time no tornadoes near that location right now. this particular tornado has weakened and has became rain wrapped as we say. weakened at this time, but like i said the tornado has weakened in the city of moore as it tracks across i-35 going through del city, air force base on the southeast side of oklahoma city in the direct path of this tornado. as it comes back down, we have other damage on the southeast side. the tornado continues to track through the northeast heading toward the air force base. we also have a new wall cloud. seeing it from the bridge. new tornado coming up from the southwest side. it s going to be southwest of ....
Now. not as defined as they were before. tracking that circulation right into moore. i think that may have roped out a little bit. it looked like a very strong tornado. and the circulation has weakened and roped out a little bit. that is just southeast side of norman that s tracking northeast. and we still have a little bit of circulation from moore back down towards new castle it looks like they are sort of getting elongated and kind of shearing out a little bit but there has been a lot of damage with these storms, jeff, there have been damage around the golds buy area. we are talking about two people that have been killed in the oreno area before from that area. they are violent storms. shepard: they are forming now. let s get back to jeff outside of oklahoma city. you watched one form. what are you seeing now? the one that s over moore right now is going up and down. i m still on the east side of moore. i see the wall cloud and funnels coming down north of me. as they continue ....

Kokh. and we have been talking to that storm chaser and with unbelievable play-by-play of what s going on around the oklahoma city area where we have tornado warnings in effect and damage reported on the ground. so not only doppler radar indicated tornadoes but we have gotten confirmation of tornadoes on the ground with damage in and around the oklahoma city area. and reports from our storm chaser saying that at least two people have been killed. i don t know if we have we have gotten our desk to confirm that but the reports say that at least two people have been killed. unfortunately, shepard, i was hoping this morning that the storm prediction center was not going to be right. you know, you you just don t want to see this kind of damage happening. however, people hopefully have heated heeded most of the warnings that are happening. shepard: i want to show some video that has just come in. storm chaser video north of oklahoma city. look at what has just happened. this has just a ....
