The APC officers in Igboroko 1 ward two of Owo Local Government had placed suspension on Anifowose, who is the daughter of the first Executive Governor of the old Ondo State, Late Chief Michael Ajasin, for involving in anti-party activities . Service chiefs: Buhari made informed decision, says ex-Borno gov, Shettima Kayode Idowu, Maiduguri Former Governor of Borno State, Kashim Shettima, has said the choice of the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), of the new service chiefs was well-informed. The new technology, our correspondent gathered, would help identify and manage external corrosion, leaks and other interferences, following its technical evaluation and fitness checking by approval officers. It was further gathered that the approval of the new technology has the potential to stimulate investment in local industry in order to produce the pipes in the country, with a view to creating 400 to 450 local manufacturing jobs and spurring industrialisation. Okechukwu Nnodim, Abuja The Federal Government on Thursday boasted that at least 99 per cent of data of all citizens in Nigeria was protected and insured, as it assured Nigerians not to worry about the privacy of their data. Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami, disclosed this virtually on Day 4 of the National Privacy Week organised by the National Information Technology Development Agency as part of programmes to celebrate the World Privacy Day. This was contained in a letter titled, ‘Request to Recall Dismissed Pregnant Police Officer’ which was signed by the Chairman of WELA, Mrs. Funmi Falana, on Thursday. “Take notice that if our request is not granted, we shall challenge the dismissal of Mrs. Omotola at the National Industrial Court and pray for the annulment of Regulation 127 made pursuant to the Police Act, 2020,” the letter read. ....
