Thanks to Wall Street Journal, Lake Martin's secret may be out
In the middle of east central Alabama lies what was once one of Alabama's best kept secrets. Lake Martin, a man made lake supported by Martin Dam, is fed by the Tallapoosa River and surrounding creeks. The lake consists of 40,000 acres and has a shoreline that reaches over 800 miles.
