The new diector of the Office of Government rRelation will take office on Jan. 26.
Mayor Ted Wheeler announced the new director of the city s Office of Government Relations on the day the 2021 Oregon Legislature formally started after a delay prompted by security concerns.
Briannon Fraley was selected after a national search. She will begin the job on Jan. 25. Fraley most recently served as Initiatives Director for the Wild Rivers Community Foundation in Crescent City, California.
Briannon s track record of collaboration, priority-setting and community-building is the right combination to build partnerships and move Portland priorities forward, Wheeler said in his Jan. 21 announcement. She will join and lead an outstanding team of professionals and I am excited to work with her to advance our community s priorities at the State and Federal level. ....
