Purina took three years to repurpose a former brewery to create a new pet food factory in North Carolina, which was opened on 26 March 2024.
The new plant is the company’s first in North Carolina and 23rd in the United States.
More than $450 million operation repurposed 80% of a former brewery's existing structure.
A $450 million dollar project will now be open in Rockingham County bringing a new business and over 300 new jobs to the area of Eden, N.C.
