A 71-year-old San Antonio man was struck and killed by a vehicle on Dec. 7. The Texas Department of Public Safety reported that William Harold O'Connell, 71, was struck by a 2017 Ford F-250 driven by Joshua Robert Pass, 41, of Fort Stockton. Pass was driving southbound on U.S. Highway 285 at Mile Marker 421 and struck a pedestrian – O’Connell – in the roadway. O’Connell died at the scene. The accident is still under investigation and no more information is available.
