Long Island school elections, 2021-22 Print Email School district residents go to the polls on May 18 to vote on budgets and members of their local boards for the coming school year. The Great Neck, Lawrence, Hewlett-Woodmere and West Hempstead districts received permission from the state to hold voting on May 11, before the statewide date of May 18, which is also the date of the Jewish holiday Shavuot.
