Edward Lee Atkins Sr. WILLIAMSBURG — Deacon Emeritus Edward Lee Atkins Sr., 94, was born March 20, 1926, the oldest child of Willie and Annie Atkins. He received his heavenly reward peacefully Thursday, Dec. 10, 2020. Edward Lee received and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at a very young age at Gilfield Baptist Church. There, he was active in Sunday school, the Men’s Choir and Deacon Board.
