Willis Ray Gee was born April 22, 1932 in Burkburnett to parents Willis N. Gee and Cletis D. Matthews Gee. Ray met Will Ann Still in 1949 and they were married in Eliasville on May 5, 1950. He served his country in the United States Navy where he became a pipe fitter. He used that trade as a welder for many years throughout the United States and abroad.
