Appomattox Sheriff-Elect Richardson ready to lead office
Appomattox County Sheriff’s Maj. Robert N. “Robby” Richardson will be sworn into office Dec. 15 as the county’s next sheriff on his 40th birthday. “It will be a good birthday present,” said Richardson, who was elected into the county’s top law enforcement position Nov. 7.
