Sen. Jil Tracy running for re-election in redrawn, more southward district
State Senator Jil Tracy announced this week she will seek another term in office but with new legislative maps will not be representing the Galesburg area. Republican Tracy is from Quincy and will campaign in new territory going south from Adams County toward the Metro St. Louis region. Knox County will be represented by two different Senators after '22, as Peoria's Win Stoller also has been drawn into a new district.
