Winton Eugene "Gene" Rush, 74, of Norris City, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022. He was born on March 14, 1948 in Springerton, IL, the son of Robert W. and Kathryn Rush. Gene owned and operated Rush Marathon in Enfield for many years, and later Rush's Station in McLeansboro, Illinois. He was a Christian and was a Past Master and member of the Enfield Masonic Lodge. Gene served in the United States Army during Vietnam. Gene is survived by his sister, Kay Smith of Paducah, KY, and a nephew, Shane Smith of Kevil, KY.
