Man Sentenced for Helping Dispose of Chula Vista Man's Body Stuffed in Barrel


Cook was sentenced for second-degree murder, two years after a man s decomposed body was found floating in a barrel. NBC 7 s Nicole Gomez reports.
Prosecutors said Spurgeon allowed Cook to use his boat and helped him weigh down a 55-gallon drum containing Medina s body, which was later found floating in the bay. When police pulled the barrel to the shore and opened it, they found a body inside, so badly decomposed that it took the San Diego County Medical Examiner s Office about six weeks to identify. According to the autopsy report, Medina was able to be identified in part by fingerprints and the tattoo of a five-pointed star on his left ankle. ....

Distinction in the fcc bill, from my understanding, there was a deal cut that said, we re going to have some version of net neutrality on broadband, but nothing on the wireless side, which is your smartphone. exactly well, your smartphone, but you can use a card on your laptop. so if you re using a card on your laptop, you get a different internet connection and experience than you could get on your wireline connection and it s really the same internet. so it s an exemption for at&t and verizon, to benefit them. on the wire line side, you have more subtle exceptions. but on the wireless side, it s just a free for all. let me pursue on the wireless side. this is the argument that the providers make that, look, this is expensive, bandwidth is a finite resource, at least as our networks are currently constituted, and give us a break. we re already getting our network trashed by everybody s iphones. why is that not an argument that s compelling to you? well, i mean, in any network, ....
