Becky Talbot, one of the organisers of last autumn’s March With Midwives protests told us: “Every single case in this [Ockenden] report [on Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust] is heart-breaking and appalling. Put them together and it’s a huge disaster. It’s particularly bad, but it’s not something separable from the wider crisis in maternity services and the NHS.
