Blockade lifted at the first Polish
Blockade lifted at the first Polish-Ukrainian border crossing. Polish hauliers had been preventing trucks from Ukraine from crossing the border for more than a month. The protest is now ending – and at the same time flaring up in a neighbouring country. Slovak hauliers blocked the only truck border crossing with Ukraine in Vysne Nemecke on Monday afternoon. The blockade is intended to draw attention to the disadvantages of domestic freight forwarders compared to the cheaper Ukrainian competition. However, only trucks coming from the Ukrainian direction would be stopped.
