CAPE VINCENT — At 8:15 Tuesday morning, Horne’s Ferry made its first run of the season, from Cape Vincent to the Port of Alexandria, on Wolfe Island in Canada.
The Wolfe Islander IV has completed a test run from Kingston to Wolfe Island. The trip included taking on vehicles and passengers from the mainland.
The Ontario Ministry of Transportation suggests visitors to Wolfe Island from Kingston, Ont., should walk on the ferry and leave their cars on the mainland to avoid long waits.
